Although it has been over seven years since Sons of Anarchy was on television, fans love anything from Katey Sagal and from the show. Over on Instagram, Katey Sagal shared the photo that showed her in Gemma’s iconic highlighted hair. Sagal has played a few characters in the same vein as Gemma, rough but sweet, willing to do whatever for her family. However, none other stacks up against her Son of Anarchy character.

Of course, Gemma on Sons of Anarchy might be the highlight of Katey Sagal’s career. The drama received critical acclaim and quickly became one of America’s most popular shows during its run. Sagal’s husband, Kurt Sutter, created the show which ran from 2008-2014.

What drew viewers to the show was the intense drama. Following the lives of an outlaw motorcycle club based out of California, the show featured drugs, guns, and plenty of betrayal throughout.
