Kelly Clarkson is bringing back her live studio audience. And this will be the first time she’ll host an in-studio audience since before the COVID-19 pandemic.
Season three of The Kelly Clarkson Show will air on September 13th. And Clarkson is celebrating the return of her Emmy award-winning talk show with a live studio audience.
When the pandemic began, Clarkson moved back to her ranch in Montana and filmed her series remotely. Then, she got creative and hosted a virtual audience for season two. But this year, Kelly Clarkson was happy to announce that she’ll be face-to-face with her fans once again.
“What’s up ya’ll?!” Clarkson greeted in a promo. “Kelly Clarkson has arrived in New York City.”
And that’s where she will stay for the first week of filming. The new season will debut at the Lincoln Center in NYC. After premiere week, the show will return to Universal Studios in Hollywood. All audience members will need to be fully vaccinated.
“We can’t wait to kick off our 3rd season of The Kelly Clarkson Show celebrating New York City…a city that is known for its energy, resilience, and the arts that have been inspiring me since I was a kid!” Clarkson told her fans. “I warned people last season that mama would show up if I kept getting invited…well, no take-backs, here I am New York!”
Kelly Clarkson’s Soon-to-Be Ex was ‘Extremely Jealous’ of Her Success
Kelly Clarkson has been going through a very public divorce since June of last year. And it seems that her successful career was one of the reasons behind the split.
According to an insider, Clarkson’s marriage to music manager Brandon Blackstock had been struggling for some time. The three-time Grammy award winner believed that her husband was using her for her money. She earns $2 million a month from talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show.
“She was the high-income earner with a wildly successful talk show and is the star of another hit show The Voice. Brandon was extremely jealous of it and made her know it.”
The source told US Weekly that the relationship was “awful” at the end. “Kelly felt that she could no longer trust Brandon. She had a lot of questions that he just couldn’t answer. She just wasn’t willing to look the other way anymore.”
The insider told US Weekly that the divorce is nearly finalized, and Clarkson is feeling “extremely confident.” They continued, “[Clarkson] can finally enjoy her success without feeling ashamed.” The 44-year-old singer recently moved into her new 5.4 million dollar home in Toluca Lake, California. And she’s feeling great about starting her new life.
