Kelly Osbourne is looking to stay on the sober train these days. She decided a “new hair” transformation would possibly help, too.

Osbourne, daughter of rock music legend Ozzy Osbourne and former “The Talk” co-host Sharon Osbourne, recently opened up about a substance abuse relapse. She’s shared about it with her Instagram followers, being transparent about losing her sobriety after four years.

On Wednesday, Kelly Osbourne shared a more upbeat photo with her 2.3 million followers on Instagram. Take a look below at her updated look.

Kelly Osbourne, Parents Have Been Through Some Tough Times

The Osbourne family has been through some tough times in the past year. Ozzy, who’s known for being the original lead singer of Black Sabbath, had to halt his world tour. One reason was, obviously, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Yet he suffered a neck injury and needed to be at home and off the road.

His most recent public appearance was when he accepted his place in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Sharon recently lost her role with CBS’s “The Talk.” She offered words of support for longtime friend and British talk-show host Piers Morgan. Sharon said Morgan, who criticized Meghan Markle for her interview with Oprah Winfrey, had a right to his opinion. Morgan received criticism for making what some people saw as racist comments toward Markle.

Kelly Osbourne opened up about her relapse.

“This is a little hard for me to talk about,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “But I’ve always promised you that I will always be honest with you about where I’m at and what’s going on in my road to recovery.

“I relapsed,” Osbourne wrote. “Not proud of it. But I am back on track.”

Sharon Osbourne Revealed Suicide Attempt Earlier In Life

Back in 2020, Sharon Osbourne, while still part of “The Talk,” revealed that she attempted suicide four years earlier.

She admitted to struggling with depression and suicidal ideation over the years. Osbourne said it got so bad that she checked herself into a treatment facility.

But she had what she called “a wake-up call” from two girls battling drug addiction after their mothers committed suicide.

“It messed them up so bad that they couldn’t cope with their lives,” Osbourne said. “And that shocked me into – come on, am I going to do this to my family, my babies? No way. And that shocked me – it was like an electric shock, and it was like, ‘Get it together.'”
