On Friday (August 20th), Live! With Kelly & Ryan star Kelly Ripa took to her Instagram account to show off an all-smiles snapshot of her look-alike sons while enjoying a nice vacation earlier this summer.
“#tbt to the start of summer 🌞🌞,” Kelly Ripa captions the post.

Kelly Ripa has been on Live! since Kathie Lee Gifford left the talk show. She was with Regis Philbin until 2011 when Philbin departed. She was with Michael Strahan from 2012 until 2016. Since 2017, Ryan Seacrest has been her co-host.
Kelly Ripa Opens Up About Working With Seacrest on ‘Live!’
During a November 2020 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kelly Ripa opened up about her time with Ryan Seacrest on Live! “Working with your friends is a great privilege,” she proclaimed. “It is a joy and I have to say that it is a rare thing to work with a guy who is so authentic and joyful.”
Kelly Ripa also says Seacrest brings joyfulness as well as enthusiasm, professionalism, and authenticity to the Live! stage and she’s incredibly grateful to have him as co-host.
“[Kelly Ripa] and I do a television show, but it’s not just a television show, Seacrest chimed in. “We come in and we literally have our first cup of coffee together and catch up with each other as friends do. That’s the dynamic we hope we have with people who are watching as well.”
Kelly Ripa further explains that Seacrest isn’t spoiled like the way a lot of people get spoiled when they get a “fancy” job. “Ryan has not been jaded or made cynical by a rob that often makes people cynical or jaded immediately.”
In regards to how he and Kelly Ripa have connected throughout the years, Seacrest commented, “You learn so much about the other. Like I know every day Kelly and I workout about the same time. She watches things that irritate her to burn off calories. I listen to ballads. She eats dinner when I go to bed. There’re just these things we know about each other’s rhythms that you learn once you work together.”
Kelly Ripa goes on to add that she and Ryan usually text each other about 15 times before the show and yet they still have things to say on air.
“It’s a weird co-dependency. We’re happy to have our psychiatric episodes unfold before everyone on live TV.”
Live! With Kelly And Ryan airs on weekdays at 9 am Eastern/ 8 am Central.
