Jeopardy! star and guest host Ken Jennings took to social media on Sunday night to take a jab at the theme song of the popular show, Friends.

Jennings has been very active on his social media accounts recently. Whether its making hilarious suggestions, or taking shots at Tom Brady over who the real GOAT is, Jennings isn’t shy when he’s behind the keyboard. That was the case yet again on Sunday.

The second-most winningest player in Jeopardy! history, Jennings is aiming in on the show Friends in his most recent tweet. Particularly the show’s theme song, which is extremely popular and recognizable amongst its fans. Here’s what he has to say about it:

“The ‘Friends’ theme rests on the assumption that the current year being ‘your year’ is a lesser and more common achievement than having your day, week, or month. In this thread, I will demonstrate 1/148,” Jennings wrote on Twitter.

While it seems Jennings is a little confused by what kind of message the Friends theme song is trying to portray, he isn’t the only one. Many of his fans on Twitter were in his replies with questions of their own.

Andy Knapp (@DarthKnapp) replied to Ken Jennings saying, “The song also tells you that ‘So no one told you life was gonna be this way’ and that ‘Your mother warned you there’d be days like these.’ So which one is it?”

Meanwhile, @phillyphan593 chimed in with his two cents. “And really the assumption that you actually want to get out of second gear. Some people prefer to take things slow!”

Ken Jennings Takes Swipe at Tom Brady

Sunday, however, wasn’t the only time that Ken Jennings has gone to social media to take a swipe at someone. He did so less than a week ago when he called out Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady in the greatest of all-time debate.

Jennings replied on Twitter to ESPN fantasy football expert Matthew Berry. He asked, “Is Tom Brady the GOAT of all sports?” Apparently, Jennings thinks that his name should be in the GOAT conversation.

In hysterical fashion, Jennings promptly replied. “Look, we’re all thinking it: this all hinges on whether or not Jeopardy! counts as a sport.”

Most people would probably have to choose Brady in this scenario. After all, the 43-year-old has now won 7 Super Bowls with 10 championship appearances over his long and successful career. The most recent of which came this past Sunday (Feb. 7) in against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. With the win, Brady became the oldest quarterback to ever win the championship.

Although in Jennings defense, he literally has a trophy with the phrase “Greatest of All Time” on it. He went on an incredible 74-game winning streak in 2004, netting him over two-and-a-half million dollars. There’s no doubt that if Jeopardy! was considered a sport, Jennings may very well be the GOAT.
