On Tuesday, ABC announced that Tiffany Dupont will star alongside Billy Campbell, Angel Parker, and Gerardo Celasco in the pilot episode for “National Parks,” co-written and produced by “Yellowstone” star Kevin Costner.

Co-written by Costner, Aaron Helbing, and Jon Baird and set to be directed by Anthony Hemingway, the show will follow a group of National Park Service agents as they solve crimes while protecting the public lands

Dupont will play the role of a quick-witted agent and wildlife expert named Talia. Her attention to detail makes her a critical part of the agency.

Dupont will also join series regulars Ashleigh Sharpe Chestnut and Blu Hunt. You may have seen her on Freeform’s “Good Trouble,” as well as recurring roles on “9-1-1”, “Proven Innocent,” and “Star.”

On the big screen, she had a role alongside Greg Kinnear and Aldis Hodge in the drama film Brian Banks.

Fans Eagerly Await The Premiere Of Kevin Costner’s National Parks’

In Dec. 2019, A+E studios first announced the project as being in development at ABC.

Hemingway is slated to executive produce and directs the pilot through his own production company, Anthony Hemingway Productions.

Costner is a co-writer on the series along with Aaron Helbing and Jon Baird, with all three also executive producing. The show will mark Costner’s first television writing credit.

“Our partners at ABC, 20th Television and A+E Studios have given me a great environment to step out of my comfort zone and deliver something special,” Kevin Costner said.

Helbing will act as showrunner in addition to co-writing the pilot’s script. Most recently he served as the showrunner on the drama “Knightfall.” His other credits include “The Flash,” and “Spartacus.”

National parks are known for their awe-inspiring landscapes, but the show will reveal a menacing side we often don’t see. In the show, fans can expect to see a vast amount of criminal activity in the park’s landscape.
