KISS frontman Paul Stanley took to his Twitter on Monday (August 30th) to give his fans the latest update about his health.

In the post, Stanley shared that his symptoms are actually pretty mild. “Let me tell you… it kicked my a—,” the rock legend declared. “It’s over now.”

As previously reported, KISS announced last week that Stanley became ill, but originally didn’t reveal what was wrong with the bandmate. Fellow KISS bandmate Gene Simmons revealed to TMZ that Stanley did contract COVID-19 and said that the Delta Variant is “very catchy.”

Simmons also shared that he and the rest of KISS bandmates are currently isolating themselves just in case someone else has caught the virus. “But I just talked with Paul. We are sequestered. We’re quarantined in a hotel,” Simmons revealed. He also gave credit to the vaccine Stanley received earlier this year for helping the rock legend to not struggle as much with the virus.

Since he’s been in recovery, Stanley has continued to offer updates about his health. Last Friday, he shared on Twitter, “Some really rough days behind and hopefully just a few more ahead. Then… I’M COMIN’ OUT THERE TO SEE YOU!!!!”

KISS Fans Reacts to Stanley’s Health Update

Just after Stanley shared his latest health update, fans took to Twitter to share their support for the KISS frontman. One fan wrote, “You’re so freakin’ awesome to be promoting the vaccine as much as you are- as a medical field worker, and the son of a nurse, I’m insanely proud to be a KISS army member for so many reasons, this included.”

Another KISS fan also shared, “There’s no reason to be in a hurry. Take good care of yourself and once again, a lot of strength and courage. Our best wishes for your full recovery as soon as possible, Mr. Stanley.”

KISS Postpones the Next Four Tour Dates

On Tuesday (August 31st), KISS announced they have postponed the next four tour dates in order for the bandmates to rest and remain in quarantine. “All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the next dates once announced,” KISS declared through a post on Twitter. “More information will be emailed to ticketholders directly.”

The shows that KISS postponed are the following:

Clarkston, MI – DTE Energy Music Theatre – September 1st
Dayton, OH – Wright State University Nutter Center – September 2nd
