From the Fontana di Trevi to Rome’s best dining, Last Man Standing‘s Kaitlyn Dever looks to be loving every second of her Italian holiday.
And how could she not? Few places that remain on Earth hold the historic splendor of Italy – Rome, especially. Especially when coupled with such beauty! Kaitlyn Dever fits in perfectly, as the talented and lovely actress glows amidst her sightseeing.
One of her best shots, which you can see below, comes courtesy of Rome’s famous, incomparable Fontana di Trevi – or Trevi Fountain. The lush, immense Baroque fountain lies in the heart of Rome. To this day, the ancient fixture remains one of the world’s most beloved public places.
In fact, it is said that by throwing a coin into the Trevi Fountain you will ensure your return to the “Eternal City.” Many people take this to heart, too. Enough that “an estimated $4,000 are tossed into the fountain’s waters each day,” cites Select Italy.
Perhaps Last Man Standing‘s Kaitlyn Dever is now among said hopefuls?
Either way, her holidaying and career seem to be on the right track, that’s for sure. But this wasn’t always the case in the eyes of Last Man Standing fans.
It feels like a century ago, but once upon a time – Kaitlyn Dever chose not to return as a series regular for Last Man Standing. When Fox picked up the show following its original cancellation by ABC, Dever’s Eve was nowhere to be found. It made for a huge hole in the show – and fans remained perplexed for years.
Kaitlyn Dever’s Return for ‘Last Man Standing’ Ending Thrilled Fans
At the time, Dever’s Hollywood film career has taken off. For a while, she chose to chase it instead of small screen sitcoms. Films like Booksmart would showcase her talent – but the actress is still active in the television realm through Netflix series like Unbelievable and, of course, her infamous return to Last Man Standing.
Last Man Standing’s April 8, 2021 episode, “The Two Nieces of Eve,” saw the highly-anticipated return of Kaitlyn Dever as Eve Baxter before the series finale. It proved well worth the wait for fans of Tim Allen’s long-running sitcom – something they’ll never forget.
Before this, the only recent appearance by Dever’s Eve came with the Season 9 premiere, “Time Flies,” in which the actress briefly resumed her role via an in-show Zoom call. It was… Odd… But better than nothing!
Then, for April 8 night’s episode, however, Eve Baxter would be back in full! “The Two Nieces of Eve” shows Mike and Vanessa Baxter upset that Eve will only be with her family for one single weekend. They, like their audience, missed Kaitlyn Dever – er, Eve – deeply.
Within the plot, Eve has come back home from the Air Force Academy to bond with her new nieces. And it’s an episode that proved well worth the wait.
