‘Last Man Standing’: Tim Allen Encourages Fans to ‘Put Your Phones on Silent’ for Next Episode

Tim Allen is hyping up the final three episodes of Last Man Standing by telling viewers to put away their phones. The show airs tonight at 9:30 p.m. EST.

“I’m excited for a fantastic #new episode of #lastmanstanding tonight on @FOXTV ! Put your phones on silent folks, you’re not going to want to miss this…,” be tweeted Thursday.

His tweet included a clip that gave some hints of what to expect in tonight’s episode. Vanessa wants to improve the girls’ play area, and Mike returns to Outdoors Man to talk to its new CEO, his daughter Kristin.

Mike Can’t Stay Away From Outdoors Man in Clip

In a just-released clip from tonight’s episode, Mike Baxter (Tim Allen) is just hanging around the break room of his old store. But Ed (Hector Elizondo) sees through the ruse instantly.

“I was wondering how long it would take you to check on your daughter,” Ed says.

“I’m not checking on her,” Baxter snaps. “I’m checking on you. (Beat) So how’s she doing?”

Turns out, Kristin (Amanda Fuller) is doing just fine as CEO, thriving actually. Even if she’s made some changes to Mike’s old office he’s not too happy about.

“You moved my tanks?” he asks.

“Yeah, I didn’t think you would mind,” she says, to which Baxter swipes back, “You’d be wrong.”

‘Last Man Standing’ Fans Thank Tim Allen

Fans of the show are getting sentimental as Last Man Standing enters its final weeks. The show will officially come to an end on April 15. And fans are letting the cast and crew know how much it’s mean to them over the nine seasons it’s been on the air.

Though, fans won’t have to wait to see Allen’s next show. He’s already working on Assembly Required on History Channel with Richard Karn.

“Next project man! Your sitcoms are the BEST!!!! Hopefully you’ll have another soon.”

“It’s so cool that it’s Tim’s actual truck. I love the outdoor shot of the store where you see the truck parked, tucked in on the right side of the building.”

“I love the show Tim and I’m definitely gonna miss it. But at least I have Assembly Required to watch now with you and Richard Karn. I Love watching you guys together just like growing up when I was watching Home Improvement.”

“So how long do we have to wait before you are back on TV again? Love Home Improvement and Last Man Standing.”

“Such an awesome car! Your show will go down as one of the greatest sitcoms! Cheers!”
