The long-running Tim Allen-led sitcom is finally coming to an end this year. “Last Man Standing” had an impressive run from 2011-2021, and the network’s Twitter account is having fun with one of the show’s memorable moments.

The social media mind behind the FOX account used the picture of the Baxter’s like a meme format unto itself. The picture sees Mike and Vanessa having a hug-of-war over their daughter, Eve. In a relatable twist, the tweet acknowledges that the author thinks astrology is fake. Despite that, they can’t resist judging people by their star signs.

Each frame of the post features the same picture but tags Eve with different astrological signs. That leaves Mike and Vanessa to personify some of the biggest perceived stereotypes for each sign. The imagery is hilarious, as Tim Allen’s Mike and Nancy Travis’ Vanessa embrace their daughter as the human embodiment of personality traits.

A Brief Astrology Lesson, Courtesy of the ‘Last Man Standing’ Cast

The first is the sign of the Gemini. According to Co-Star Astrology, a Gemini is typically charismatic and can talk to pretty much anyone or anything. That seems to fit with the “Last Man Standing” depiction here.

In the second frame, the FOX tweet makes Eve a Leo. According to Co-Star Astrology, a Leo is generally warm and a little vain. Those descriptors certainly line up with Tim Allen providing “attention” and Nancy Travis “cultivating friendships.”

The third is Libra. Per Co-Star Astrology, a typical Libra is indecisive and is very much aware of their aesthetic. It follows then that Mike Baxter would represent “not having to make decisions” and Vanessa would be “anything & everything fashion.”

Finally, we arrive at Virgo. Co-Star Astrology lists spatial awareness and the capacity for a million thoughts a second as traits. So “organization” and “intellectual connections” seem appropriate.

Tim Allen-led Sitcom Comes to an End

As the series draws to a close this May, Tim Allen and his fellow cast members have gotten increasingly sentimental about their time on the show.

In a statement he issued in October, Allen talked about what the end meant to him.

“I’ve been one lucky dude to have been part of ‘Last Man Standing.’ I so appreciate the incredible support from our fans over this near decade of work. As we approach the ninth season, I just admire and feel grateful for all the hard work our wonderful cast and crew have done. We had all considered to end the show after last season, but together with FOX, we decided to add a year so we could produce a full season to create the gentle and fun goodbye. I’m looking forward to a memorable and hilarious final season.”
