“Law & Order” show stars Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay continue to share pictures of each other on their social media accounts.

Whose turn is it on Tuesday night? Well, Meloni appears to go “leg up” on Hargitay’s Instagram account. Both actors are probably busy shooting crossover scenes for their “Law & Order” shows.

Take a look at this snap from Hargitay.

Obviously, these two are taking a break from shooting. Night scenes with Hargitay and Meloni? Hmm, “Law & Order” fans will have to be trying to piece together what show this might pop up on this season.

Hargitay returns for a 23rd season on “Law & Order: SVU” in her role as Sergeant Olivia Benson. Meloni, who stepped away from “SVU” after 12 seasons, returns for a second season as Detective Elliot Stabler on “Law & Order: Organized Crime.”

“Law & Order” fans know that Benson and Stabler worked alongside one another on “SVU.” When Meloni left, that made Ice-T, who plays Sergeant Odafin “Fin” Tutuola, the second-longest tenured star on that show. He’s entering his 22nd season on the NBC crime show.

Outsiders who love these shows will be glad to know that, once again, NBC will have them back to back on their Thursday night lineup. “SVU” will appear at 9 p.m. Eastern, 8 p.m. Central. “Organized Crime” will appear at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central.

‘Law & Order’ Show Star Admits He Was Pleased To See Meloni Leave

When Meloni made his decision to leave “SVU” and the “Law & Order” franchise after 12 seasons, no one was more on his side than Ice-T.

Before you think Ice-T wanted to hog the TV time after Detective Elliot Stabler left, read what the hip-hip icon and TV shared with Hollywood Life.

“The cool thing is me and Chris are friends,” Ice-T said. “So 12 years ago when he left to do his thing, I was 100 percent behind Chris’ moves. Like I’ve said, a lot of people don’t get into acting to play one part for 20 years, you know? It’s like me only singing one song at the concert every year.

“So he went off to do his thing,” the “Law & Order” show actor said. “He did movies. He had his own show. Now he’s back and in a good place. Chris is a great person. He’s fun. We’re very similar. You got two alpha males, you know what I’m saying? So, me and him understand each other.

“Mariska loves to see him back,” he said. “You guys are gonna love the episodes that we’ve done so far. I’ve shot a couple of episodes with Chris, so he crosses over back and forth a couple of times.”
