The Law & Order twitter is hyping up fans for season 2 of Law & Order: Organized Crime. The franchise just teased more heated moments between Stabler and Bell. The show, which has a short first season due to covid-19, is finally coming back with a full season and tons of new bad guys. But the drama isn’t just between the Organized Crime Squad and criminals, it’s also between Stabler and his boss.

While it’s typically Sergeant Bell that holds Stabler back, in a new clip of the two, the roles are reversed. Exactly what goes down to lead them to this point is unclear, but people love seeing the two work together again.

Elliot Stabler actor Chris Meloni Predicts ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Fans Will Lose Their Minds Over One Particular Moment

The partnership between Stabler and Bell as they hunt down criminals is definitely something fans should keep a close eye on, but it is far from the only interesting dynamic fans can expect from season 2 of Law & Order: Organized Crime.

Fans of ‘Law & Order’ have “shipped” the Stabler and Benson essentially since Law & Order: SVU started. And now that Stabler is back in the Law & Order universe, fans are soaking up every moment between the two. The two shows had frequent crossover events last year and will do even more this year.

In the season finale of Law & Order: Organized Crime, Elliot Stabler hands Olivia Benson a note, but we have no idea what’s in it. Apparently, whatever is inside is a major bombshell.

“The letter is addressed this season and I think [fans are] going to set [their] heads on fire when it happens,” Chris Meloni told TV Line. “I think there’s going to be a riot.”

Apparently, we’re going to hear the letter. Meloni says that it’s “Maybe not the full and total [letter], but you’re going to get an earful.”

Season 2 Airs Next Week

The show is also going to have a bunch of new people joining the cast. It includes an actor who was a huge fan of the show before landing the role: Ron Cephas Jones. Jones will play congressman Leon Kilbride who is a very well-connected politician. Ellen Burstyn, who plays Elliot Stabler’s mother, will also make a return next season.

Meanwhile, fan favorites like Sergeant Bell and the young computer whiz, Jet are set to play major roles in the storyline once more. And with the new clip, it looks like Bell and Stabler will have plenty to do already.

Fans have been waiting all summer for the return of both Law & Order: Organized Crime and Law & Order: SVU, and we have just over a week away until the two shows finally come back. Both shows will return on Thursday, September 23rd on NBC.
