The actor recently posted a video alongside his longtime “Law & Order: SVU” co-star, Mariska Hargitay, that he recently reunited with after landing his own show in the universe.
New Video with ‘Law & Order’ Stars
In the video, Meloni appears first in the frame. He is staring straight ahead until eventually, you notice his hands are grasped behind his back.
He is pulling Hargitay on a rolling desk chair behind him and pretending like he is a train. At the end of the clip, Hargitay appears to fall off the chair at the end of the frame. He captioned this entire hilarious interaction, “Hop on board #OC #SVU #marshachoochoo.”
The video is an adorable reminder of how close the two “Law & Order” stars are outside of filming. Only two close friends could come up with such a strange Instagram video, after all.
Fans in the comment section also seem amused by the entire situation. The top comment was someone writing frantically, “SIR DONT BREAK HER PLEASE.” It makes sense for fans to be frantic over Hargitay’s health.
She was spotted back to work with crutches helping her walk. The 57-year-old actress is also rocking an orthopedic cast on her right foot. She tripped while viewing a screening of “Black Widow” in the Hamptons and broke her ankle in the fall.
She seems to be healing nicely, however, Hargitay has definitely given her fans a number of health scares. The “Law & Order: SVU” star has been playing her role as Captain Olivia Benson since the show started. That means she’s been around for 22 seasons and is now filming for season 23.
Melissa McCarthy Wishes Hargitay Well
Both Meloni and Hargitay have made it known just how close they are both on and off the screen over the years. However, he isn’t the only Hollywood star that has her back.
Following her injury, which hopefully she doesn’t have another one thanks to Christopher Meloni, the actress got a lot of love online. “Bridesmaids” actress Melissa McCarthy went out on the streets of Los Angeles with a sign that said, “Honk if you’re PRAYING for Mariska Hargitay’s recovery.”
She then posted this video online with the caption, “If you can’t produce quality care for your friend after ankle surgery, the next best this is obviously standing outside Wienerschnitzel with a sign @therealmariskahargitay.” McCarthy shared another cut of the video with Hargitay.
“Believe it or not, she sent me an even longer video that was pretty epic. I was absolutely blown away. I couldn’t even speak when I saw it,” Hargitay said to People regarding the situation.
The “Law & Order” star has plenty of people hopping aboard the “get well” train in support of her.
