Some big things went down during last night’s brand new episode of Law & Order: Organized Crime. Namely, the Albanian mob’s reaction to Teddy Garcia’s mayoral campaign declaration that he would take them down.

The drama surrounding last night’s Law & Order: Organized Crime came to a head in an extremely emotional way; reminding some fans of another heartbreaking scene moment in the 1997 film Donnie Brasco.

“Was anyone else just touched by how happy Reggie was to Eddie (before realizing it was a hallucination) at the bar,” one Redditor asked in a recent post.

“I mean he knows he just messed up and then he thinks he sees this guy who seems like a father figure to him,” the question continues. “And his reaction was just so heartwarming. It’s sad how it ended up.”

Many fans of the hit NBC drama agreed with the observation. One fan noted in particular that the ending reminded them of the hit Al Pacino and Johnny Depp flick.

“Yeah that reminded me of Donnie Brasco,” notes MrsCorleone in response to the original post.

Deep Undercover

As we know, Law & Order: Organized Crime detective Elliot Stabler has gone pretty deep undercover with the Albanian mob.

And, during last night’s heart-pounding Law & Order: Organized Crime episode Unforgivable, he tries his hardest to remain undercover while convincing one of the mobsters – one he has actually begun to grow close to – to not follow through on the ordered hit.

In the Thursday, October 21 episode, the leader of the Albanian mobsters, Jon Kosta directs one of his men, Reggie, to follow through on the hit on Teddy Garcia.

Since going undercover, Elliot Stabler has created a friendly relationship with Reggie.

As Reggie arrives at the Garcia residence, he becomes anxious. Reggie is stressing himself out for some time as he paces around the Garcia home ready to follow through with the crime.

‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’s’ Stabler Tries His Hardest To Prevent A Tragedy

In an effort to talk Reggie out of going through with the murder, Elliot Stabler gives him a call and tries his best to calm Reggie down.

Trying not to tip his hand as an undercover agent, Elliot Stabler speaks to Reggie as a friend who is simply looking out for his best interests.

Despite his efforts, however, Stabler is unable to convince Reggie not to follow through with the crime. Reggie goes up to the home, firing his gun as soon as the door opens.

However, Teddy Garcia was not home at the time and Reggie accidentally shoots and kills Garcia’s wife.

Reggie runs to a nearby bar to hide. It is here that the mobster is later found and arrested.
