Law & Order: Organized Crime fans think they’ve uncovered the mystery of whether or not the show is giving us a Christmas episode. Organized Crime is approaching the mid-season finale of season 2, and with an impending crossover episode, there’s a ton for fans to look forward to.

But some are wondering if Organized Crime will get festive this year. One Reddit user has posted an episode description from an unknown source about the potential for the episode.

In a thread called “The Christmas Episode,” the user attached the description, and it’s definitely getting fans intrigued.

“When Eli goes missing, Stabler asks Benson and the task force to help him find his son. Wheatley considers his future.”

We definitely know it’s going to be a crossover episode, so the idea that this could be it is exciting. Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order: Organized Crime frequently crossover, with Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson growing closer and closer.

Fans have wanted to see the two get together since Law & Order: SVU aired in 1999. They definitely have chemistry, but when Elliot Stabler retired because actor Chris Meloni had to leave the show, all hopes of what fans call “bensler” were dashed.

But now, Elliot Stabler is back on TV with Law & Order: Organized Crime. He and Benson might get together and a big midseason finale approaching would be a good time to make something happen.

It’ll also be interesting to see what Wheatley is up to.

Fans are loving seeing the return of Dylan McDermott. He and Chris Meloni are great together and Wheatley makes a great antagonist to stabler. But it’s not just Wheatley who fans are liking.

‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Fans Are Excited to See more of Jet

Fans are also excited to see more of Jet in the field. While she’s typically been more of a tech whiz, she recently went undercover. And according to the showrunner, there’s going to be more where that came from heading into the latter half of the season.

“This is what I intended all along. When we started the show, she had been through the [police] academy. She’s trained as a police officer,” showrunner Ilene Chaiken told TV Line. She has all of her credentials, but she wasn’t practicing. She was being an artist, resisting the law-and-order lifestyle, until Stabler came along and pulled her back in.”

Now, Jet is getting more and more involved in the world. Since she’s a fan-favorite character, this is great news for many.

Unfortunately, the December 9th episode will be the next episode. The show is currently on a Thanksgiving Hiatus and will get back to airing episodes then. Like always, this potential “Christmas episode” will follow a new episode of Law & Order: SVU.
