A huge fan of the inaugural season of “Law & Order: Organized Crime,” actor Ron Cephas Jones was recently announced as a cast member for the show’s next season. Teasing an “incredible” upcoming season with Chris Meloni, he’s ecstatic about his new role.
Guest-hosting “Entertainment Tonight” last Friday, Jones revealed he enjoyed watching “Law & Order: Organized Crime’s” first season and Chris Meloni. To his delight, he revealed he will act in the show’s next season alongside Meloni.
“I started to watch the first season of “Organized Crime” with Chris Meloni and I thought it was just amazing. And so to get the call to come back and be involved this season with a nice seven to eight-episode arc [was great]…So far I’ve got a couple of episodes in and it’s just been incredible.”
Jones portrays Congressman Leon Kilbride in the new spinoff. Known largely for his role on “This Is Us,” it will be interesting to see how Jones portrays this character, especially considering we’ll be seeing him for at least seven episodes.
Christopher Meloni Posing for ‘Men’s Health’ and the Internet’s Love For His Butt
Though you may recognize Christopher Meloni mainly from the “Law & Order” shows, he recently decided to spice things up a little by appearing nude on the cover of “Men’s Health Magazine.”
Posting the new cover on August 4 to their Instagram account, Meloni proudly covers himself with a 45 lb plate. The caption suggests even more Meloni shots await inside the magazine.
“A friend of mine said, ‘Did you ever think in a million years you’d be on the cover of Men’s Health?’ I said, ‘Certainly not at age 60.’ ” In other words, if September cover star @chris_meloni and his melons were going to happen, they should have happened already, writes Anna Peele. So why does America want him to be its Zaddy now? 🍑💪🎂
“Click the link in bio to see a side of the @nbclawandorder #OrganizedCrime star you’ve never seen before. 👀”
Those curious can see more Meloni photos, though you may be disappointed at a lack of his backside.
However, Meloni himself is anything but disappointed. Embracing the Internet’s love for his butt, he told “Daily Mail UK” earlier this month how amazing it is.
“It’s cool as sh*t. The aspect of age comes into play as far as the cover of [this magazine] and how I feel about it. A friend of mine said, ‘Did you ever think in a million years you’d be on the cover of Men’s Health?’ I said, ‘Certainly not at age 60.”
Meloni rounds out the interview by saying when something like this happens, you should just go with it. Besides, there are worse things than people admiring your butt.
