‘Law & Order: SVU’ Stars Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni Attend the U.S. Open Together: PHOTO

Will the teasing from Law & Order: SVU and Organized Crime stars Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni ever end?

Fans have been treated, or tortured depending on who you ask, with countless interactions and videos of the two actors over the summer. With both SVU and Organized Crime set to return this fall, the pair have spent a considerable amount of time together.

Like in Organized Crime‘s first season, the show will crossover with Law & Order: SVU again for its second. In the meantime, the two actors are having fun.

Friday night plans? High-stakes tennis at the U.S. Open.

Hargitay didn’t have much to say in her post, other than tagging the show’s official account and the U.S. Open.

And as it always seems to go with the pair of Law & Order: SVU icons, one post meant another. Christopher Meloni added to his lineage of “Marsha” posts by posting soon after.

“Marsha, I’m watching a tennis match,” Meloni starts. “It’s really exciting. Where you at? Wish you were here.”

Obviously, she’s right in front of him at the match. Is there anything better than two work friends goofing off?

For some fans, it would be a romantic next step. But considering the two’s well-documented personal lives, that may only come on the screen.

Law & Order: SVU and Organized Crime Fans Get a Major Teaser

The folks over at NBC sure know how to get a fanbase talking. With the success of shows like the Law & Order series, that’s a given. But their newest teaser may be the most-talked-about yet.

Released on September 9, a new trailer for the shows crossing over not only features some dramatic engagement between the two, but some physical interaction. That’s right folks, we’ve got confirmed hand-holding.

Right at the end of the trailer, we see Hargitay’s Olivia Benson and Meloni’s Elliott Stabler grasp hands. It looks as if Hargitay is then trying to lead Stabler by the hand, but it could also be that she’s just grasping it before she leaves.

Either way, some spicy stuff. There’s no spoilers or reports on if the crime-fighting duo will be getting together this season, but that’s probably the biggest teaser for that happening in the show’s history.

It doesn’t help that the actors themselves are having fun feeding the fire. Whether its throwback photos or just sending each other video messages through Instagram, they’re clearly playing into the narrative.

So, what does that mean? Should fans lean into the fun or take everything with a grain of salt? Probably the latter, but we all know that reasonable decisions are not the ones fans make.
