Family. You can’t live with ’em, but you can’t really live without ’em either. That’s a lesson that becomes abundantly clear for some of us around the holidays each year. But what happens if you actually could pick your Thanksgiving table?

Well, NBC wants to give you that (totally hypothetical) chance. They took to Twitter earlier today to rile fans up with a series of four Thanksgiving table settings to choose from. They feature your favorite characters from “Law & Order: SVU,” but the choice isn’t as easy as you might think. As usual, the fans had some pretty strong opinions, and here’s how it went down.

‘Law & Order: SVU’ Fans Chime In All Over the World With Their Answers

As per NBC’s official Twitter account for the show, these are your official “Law & Order: SVU” table arrangements for Thanksgiving this year. Who are you rocking stretchy pants with?

At a quick glance, table number three seems like a solid choice with Olivia Benson and Noah. But wait, who invited Brewster, and why is Elliot Stabler over at table number two? “Law & Order: SVU” fan replies came in from all over the globe as soon as the post went up.

@svufan124 is here for romance, but maybe not the one you think. They’re rooting for “table 1 to hear rollins and carisi say i love you.” And that’s a hard one to argue with seeing as the show has teased this couple’s future for so long.

@mariskaparilla says they’re avoiding the tables altogether this year, though: “im staying next to the food with these options…”

It turns out, a lot of people agree. Several of the replies focused on bringing back some of the show’s missing characters. @allyiscuriouser for example makes a plea to bring back Barba and other Twitter users also mention Amaro and Tucker from past seasons.

@phan2187 even arranged their own table which features some OG “Law & Order” members: “ben stone paul robinette lennie briscoe claire kincaid who’s with me”

What Are the Odds of Seeing Holiday Episodes This Year?

There are rumors spreading around Reddit that see “Law & Order: SVU” and “Law & Order: Organized Crime” teaming up together for the holidays to give “Bensler” a chance. But, again, those are ultimately just rumors.

If that doesn’t end up coming to fruition, here’s a list of OG “Law & Order” episodes that fans are thankful for and you can binge instead. Otherwise, alum-Peter Gallagher also has a Hallmark movie coming out, and here’s the yearly “Benson family Christmas card” to tide you over.
