Law & Order: SVU star Ice T wants the world to know that his daughter is growing up with his mother’s sweet disposition and his attitude. Earlier today, the crime drama star and rapper posted a photo of his adorable five-year-old “Mini Me,” Chanel Nicole. In the photo, Chanel looks up from her tablet, clearly in the middle of an important matter. She has on a hat dedicated to her dad (though, it’s a little too big for her) and a bright yellow T-shirt. Her dad sits with her in a kid-friendly corner of the house, amid a pug pillow, colorful cushions and a Mickey Mouse cup. Ice T captioned the photo, “My Motivation” with a diamond emoji.
This isn’t the only cuteness overload that fans of the Law & Order: SVU star received today. On a Twitter account dedicated to Chanel, Ice T posted even more photos of his daughter enjoying screen time and showing off her flashy hat.
“Just livin my life doing what I do!” the caption read. “Apparently mommy & I have been trending lately.Alot more love than hate but still some mom shaming out there! My family lives in a beautiful bubble of love & it really doesn’t matter what negative comment u make, were not changing our life 4 u”
‘Law & Order: SVU’ Star Continues to Defend Family in Midst of Criticism
Whether you agree with Coco Austin’s parenting techniques or not, Ice T made it known that he is here to defend his wife’s decision to continue breastfeeding their daughter. Recently, the Law & Order: SVU star’s wife revealed that she still breastfeeds Chanel Nicole.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Austin shared, “Chanel still likes my boobs. It’s a big bonding moment for a mother and your child.”
This sparked negative feedback from Twitter users that believe the couple’s five-year-old daughter should no longer be breastfeeding at all. Ice T wasn’t hearing any of it.
“Why the F are you worried about MY Child??? That’s what’s weird.. Now go back in the basement,” the Law & Order: SVU star told another Twitter user.
Despite the negative response to the parents’ decision, Austin and Ice T aren’t changing for the sake of others.
“Why take that away from her?” Austin said to Us Weekly about giving breastmilk to her daughter. “If she doesn’t want it, all right, that’s where you stop it. But I’m not just going to say no.”
Last year, the Law & Order: SVU star’s wife posted a photo on Instagram explaining her choice to delay weaning Chanel off breastmilk.
“At a time when the world feels like its coming to an end.. suck up as much love as you can!” Austin wrote in the caption. “At this point in nursing its just for comfort and believe me the girl loves meat so its not like she isnt eating real food.”
