“Law & Order: SVU” star Mariska Hargitay and her former co-star, Chris Meloni, have been going back and forth with different videos.

It kind of kicked off with Meloni sending out a video to “Marsha” on Instagram. Well, Hargitay, who plays Olivia Benson on the NBC crime drama, wasn’t going to let that go unanswered.

Check out what she has to say to Meloni in this latest Instagram video from her account.

“Hey it’s me, Marsh,” Hargitay said in the video. “The first thing you need to know is that you did break it. Don’t feel bad. I’ve broken some stuff, too. Something about cake, I don’t know. But guess what? I got you. Guess what I have? ‘Crazy Glue.'”

It makes sense that Hargitay and Meloni have some good-natured fun between them. They spent 12 seasons working together on “Law & Order: SVU” before Meloni left the show. But Meloni, who played Detective Elliot Stabler, returned to the “Law & Order” franchise in the spin-off “Law & Order: Organized Crime.”

Both stars will be back on their respective shows this fall. Hargitay will begin her 23rd season on “SVU” while Meloni starts his second season on “Organized Crime.”

Obviously, longtime fans of “SVU” know that there’s always been some energy between Benson and Stabler. Last season, Stabler appeared in a crossover episode of “Law & Order: SVU.” Will Benson show up on Stabler’s show? That remains to be seen. But fans will be keeping their eyes open for any signs of these two sharing a TV screen once again.

‘Law & Order: SVU’ Fans Can Look Forward To Oscar-Winning Actress Appearing

While Hargitay and Meloni draw a lot of attention for their work on “Law & Order: SVU,” they’re going to have some star power join them this season.

Oscar-winning actress Ellen Burstyn will return, but it will not be on “SVU.” Burstyn will reprise her role as Stabler’s mother, Bernadette Stabler, at some point this season on “Law & Order: Organized Crime.”

What did she win her Oscar for, you might ask? Well, it was back in 1975 for her role in “Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore.” Burstyn also has a Tony Award to her credit, also from 1975 for the play “Same Time, Next Year.”

Longtime fans of “SVU” will remember Burstyn from playing Stabler’s mother on that show. That appearance in 2009 led to an Emmy Award. She also won another Emmy in 2013 for “Political Animals.”

Other movie appearances for Burstyn include “The King of Marvin Gardens,” “The Exorcist,” “Requiem For A Dream,” and “The Fountain.” But she’ll come on back and play Stabler’s mama this coming season. It’ll be during the season, though, not in the season opener.
