‘Law & Order: SVU’ Star Ice-T Drops Sage Advice About Life With Intense New Pic

by Leanne Stahulak

You can always rely on ‘Law & Order: SVU” star Ice-T to share insightful words of wisdom with his fans on Instagram or Twitter.

These “ICE Cold Facts” always make you think about life in unexpected ways. Earlier today, the “Law & Order” star dropped another piece of advice for fans along with an intense pic. You can almost feel Ice-T’s eyes looking right through you, piercing the heart of whatever’s troubling you. The expression on his face is slightly pained, which makes sense given his caption.

“ICE Cold Fact: You either Quit or keep going… Both hurt,” the “Law & Order” star wrote.

This Cold Fact seems to piggyback off another one he shared on Instagram yesterday. The “Law & Order” actor shared a video clip from his one-episode co-star Chazz Palminteri. Ice-T captioned the video, “ICE Cold Facts! Chazz is breaking it the F down.. ‘You have to suffer to learn.'”

“I don’t care what anybody says,” Palminteri declares in the video. “If you’re not suffering, if you’re not afraid, you’re not really learning. Think of your potential or the things you want to do as ghosts at the end of your life. And when you’re old and on your death bed, these ghosts are gonna be around you. They’re gonna say, ‘Hey man, what did you do? You messed up! Now we gotta die with you man!’

“You wanna life of regrets? Because it’ll happen,” the “Law & Order” guest star finished. “Change your life. Deal with the pain. Move forward. Don’t let those ghosts die with you.”

Ice-T really seemed to take Palminteri’s message to heart. While we don’t know about Ice-T’s pain, he’s clearly ready for more.

‘Law & Order: SVU’ Star Ice-T Named ‘Philospher King’

On “Law & Order: SVU,” Ice-T plays Detective Odafin “Fin” Tutuola. He often shares the screen with Mariska Hargitay’s Detective Olivia Benson. After more than 20 years of working together, the two have developed a pretty solid relationship.

Hargitay even shared with TV Insider back in 2018 how he’s more than earned the nickname “Philosopher King.”

“He goes on his philosopher rants,” Hargitay said. “And everyone gathers around because the way he breaks everything down is clear and simple. He takes all the complex and whiny stuff out of it, like, ‘Here’s the deal.’ And in 19 years, I’ve never seen him in a bad mood or raise his voice.”

While Ice-T might appreciate Palminteri as a guest star on “Law & Order: SVU,” Hargitay said that Robin Williams was her favorite.

“It was being in the presence of true greatness,” the “Law & Order” actress said. “He had this huge heart: The set photographer captured Robin playing with my son, August [then not quite 2], with a smile from ear to ear.”
