“Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” star Mariska Hargitay is certainly enjoying the summer. Her recent Insta post included a photo of a gorgeous pink and ivory dahlia. Behind the beautiful plant are some gorgeous greenery and yellow flowers.

Of course, while showing off her bloom, the “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit,” star used her own brand of language. Hargitay’s dahlia doesn’t simply bloom…it flexes!

“Dahlia flexing and garden harvest,” the television star wrote on the Thursday morning post.

The “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” actress also included a pic of her recent fresh-picked haul from her garden in her August 11 Instagram post. From some squash, some peppers, a couple of eggplants, and even a few cucumbers, Mariska Hargitay’s garden seems to be doing really well this season.

Even fellow NBC star, broadcaster Katie Couric enjoyed Mariska Hargitay’s post. Couric commented on the photos with a series of heart-eyed emojis.

While Hargitay’s garden is looking to be doing really well for her this season, there is another season her “Law and Order” fans are anxiously awaiting.

Will ‘Law and Order: Special Victims Unit’ Continue The Benson/Stabler Storyline?

The 23rd season of the hit television series “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” is fast approaching. And dedicated fans couldn’t be more excited. Following this much anticipated two-hour premiere, will be the long-awaited season two premiere of “Law and Order: Organized Crime.”

These premieres are especially exciting for the longtime “Law and Order” fans who have been rooting for a possible romance between Hargitay’s “Special Victims” character, Olivia Benson, and Benson’s former partner and current “Organized Crime” detective, Elliot Stabler.

Staber, played by Chris Meloni, served alongside Benson on “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” for twelve seasons. However, “SVU” fans were shocked when they tuned in to watch the season thirteen premiere in 2011 and found that Stabler had left his post on “Special Victims Unit.”

The series explained the absence noting Stabler was placed on administrative leave. To explain this, the show said the leave was in response to fatalities caused by the detective’s actions. However, “Law and Order” fans were excited when, last spring, Meloni made a reappearance as Elliot Stabler. Stabler is the lead detective in the newest addition to the “Law and Order” universe, “Law and Order: Organized Crime.”

This reappearance was especially exciting to fans as the series premiere reunited Benson and Stabler in a cross-over episode. Many fans have been noting the possible romance that may come of this reunion.
