Looks like we might be seeing a couple of lovers’ quarrels in the next episode of Law & Order: SVU. The show dropped a series of photos with a cryptic caption that leads us to believe that our favorite undercover couples are headed for rougher waters.

“There’s two sides to every story, whose side are you on? Join us for an all new #SVU tonight @ 8pm on @nbc,” the show teased on Twitter.

Beneath the message were pictures of Detectives Olivia Benson, Elliott Stabler, Amanda Rollins and Dominick “Sonny” Carisi. As we know from the Season 23 premiere, Benson and Stabler seem to be showing some romantic interest toward each other, while Rollins and Carisi are keeping their new relationship a secret from the rest of the precinct. The secrecy combined with the detectives’ intense feelings for each other is a recipe for disaster. And we may just be seeing that disaster start to unfold in this upcoming episode of Law & Order: SVU.

Meanwhile, SVU fans were quick to share where their loyalties lie among the characters in question. Apparently, these fans don’t even need to know the circumstance to know whose side they’ll take in a dispute.

One fan posted a GIF of Benson and Rollins walking side by side and wrote, “My girls,” in response to the show’s prompt. Others proudly admitted that they would “always” take Benson’s side on the show.

“I’m always, ALWAYS on Benson’s side. This woman can ask me to take a stroll in hell and I’d do it. That’s how much I trust her,” a dedicated Olivia Benson fan said.

“Olivia’s, no questions asked,” another agreed.

‘Law & Order: SVU’ Fans Submit Hilarious Guesses for Mysterious Letter’s Content

We’re not even two episodes into Season 23 yet and already Law & Order: SVU has dropped some major nail-biting moments in its recent promos. The most important is, of course, the letter that Stabler gave to Benson.

With so much drama already happening in the show, NBC wanted to offer fans a bit of comic relief on Twitter. So, in another prompt, the network asked Law & Order: SVU fans what they thought the letter said. However, they only wanted to hear wrong answers. Needless to say, some of the responses were downright hysterical.

One SVU fan cited a phone scam that so many of us know all too well.

“We have been trying to reach you regarding your car’s extended warranty…” the user wrote.

“Stabler’s workout routine,” another humorous fan said, adding a GIF of him lifting weights in one hand and eating a slice of pizza in the other.

Other series joined in on the fun, too, such as Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Office, referencing jokes of their own.

Regardless of the comical responses, it’s clear everyone’s waiting for the moment when Benson finally reveals the contents of the mysterious letter.
