Reportedly, Lisa Marie Presley and her ex-husband Danny Keough are living together following the death of their son Benjamin. The two have been going through a rough time after Benjamin died last July. The grandson of Elvis Presley, Benjamin reportedly committed suicide while under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

The Sun reported that Keough moved in with Lisa Marie Presley to be close. The two parents are grieving their loss. Both Keough and Presley stayed together initially at the Beverly Hills Hotel. And they are now living in a house together as well.

“They are now living with family at a new house in Calabasas and have been grieving together. It’s been an extraordinarily difficult time and he’s been a rock for Lisa,” the outlet reported.

Presley and Keough aren’t together in a romantic sense. But they’ve become close again, spending the past few months processing their grief. Both have barely left the house during that time. The outlet reported that Presley was devastated by Benjamin’s passing.

Presley married Keough in 1988. The two met as musicians when Keough joined her band. Together, the couple had two kids together, Benjamin and Riley. But Presley and Keough ended up divorcing in 1994 while Presley was in the Dominican Republic.

Presley moved on afterward, sharing a brief marriage with pop singer Michael Jackson during the 1990s. Jackson was at the height of his fame during that period, and their relationship became highly publicized as a result. But Presley and Jackson divorced after only two years. She then married actor Nicolas Cage in the early 2000s. The couple soon separated after tying the knot and officially divorced in 2004.

In 2006, Presley and Michael Lockwood married. The couple had twin daughters together. But in 2016, they separated and were in a legal battle over custody rights. Through thick and thin, Presley has described Keough as one of her best friends.

“He’s my absolute best friend in the world,” she told Rolling Stone. “The smartest thing I’ve ever done is have children with this man because I knew this is the one man I could be connected to for the rest of my life.”

Though they may not be together romantically, Presley and Keough care deeply for each other. Right now, they’re the only ones that can relate to their current situation. Both share profound grief that will take some time to recover from.
