“Be still my heart,” was the only caption needed on Melissa Gilbert’s most recent Instagram Post of her new little grandbaby, Ripley Lou.

The July 3 post featured a photo of little Ripley Lou Brinkman all snuggled up. The little one looks so content fast asleep in her nana’s arms. It is clearly a place she likes to be. Just how smitten this brand-new grandmother is with the little grandbaby is easy to see. And, one look at the adorable bundle we can all see why!

The caption included with the picture of a sleeping Ripley Lou included a very important photo credit as well. “Photo credit: Nana,” the Insta read.

The former “Little House on the Prairie” child star welcomed little Ripley Lou to the world on June 8, 2021. Since then, Melissa Gilbert has played the “proud nana” role perfectly by posting pictures of the newest addition regularly on her social media.

Shortly after Ripley’s birth, the proud Nana took to Instagram to show off the beautiful baby, as well as praise the proud parents.
