Fans of “Little House on the Prairie,” have something to look forward to. Some members of the cast are getting together for a star-studded reunion later this month. To make things even better, they’re doing it for a good cause.

The “Little House on the Prairie” reunion will take place on a show called “Stars in the House,” which streams live every day on YouTube, according to Deadline. The show’s goal is to raise money for The Actors Fund.

It all started in March of 2020. After the pandemic forced theaters and other venues to shut their doors, members of the performing arts community were in serious financial trouble. The Actors Fund helps people involved in the performing arts in a variety of ways. So, the Little House cast will be there to help draw in viewers and, hopefully, donations.

They haven’t announced the full cast list of the “Little House on the Prairie” reunion yet. However, fans will be excited to see the ones they have announced. So far, we know that Melissa Gilbert, The Greenbush twins, Matthew Labyorteaux, Alison Arngrim, and Dean Butler will be there. We don’t know for sure if any other cast members or Michael Landon Jr. will be there. However, Melissa Sue Anderson probably won’t make an appearance.

You can watch the “Little House on the Prairie” reunion live on March 18th. The stream starts at 8 pm Eastern Time on the “Stars in the House” YouTube Channel.

What to Expect from the “Little House on the Prairie” Reunion

The “Little House on the Prairie” reunion is going to be a great time for fans of the classic show. The event will be socially distanced. Each cast member will appear remotely. So, you won’t get face-to-face interactions. However, you will be able to interact with your favorite Little House cast members. Viewers will be able to ask questions and react in real-time to the event. The live chat feature of YouTube’s live streams also allows fans to interact with one another. So, it will be a night of not only entertainment but also community.

At the same time, viewers will have the chance to donate to The Actors Fund. So far, “Stars in the House” has raised over $700,000 for the Fund. They have also raked in another $203,000 in donations for other charitable organizations.
