Madonna, the Queen of Pop herself, celebrated turning 63 yesterday (August 16) and she looks as timeless as ever.
The “Like a Virgin” singer marked this new milestone alongside her close family and friends during a wild trip to Italy. She shared some of the photos with her fans on Instagram with the caption, “Let the birthday games begin.”
Madonna Celebrates Her Birthday
The very first photo is of Madonna in a gorgeous light blue dress with her blonde hair falling onto her shoulders. Madonna was accompanied on the trip by her boyfriend, 27-year-old Ahlamalik Williams.
Fans and fellow stars quickly swarmed into the comment section to wish the “Material Girl” a happy birthday. Donatella Versace wrote, “Happy birthday to the one and only!!! You look AMAZING!!!!”
She shared a cute image of the two licking an ice cream cone together. He is a backup dancer and choreographer. The two have been dating for over a year now.
In addition to highlighting her boyfriend, Madonna also shared a few photos of her kids on the Italy journey. One photo is of her hugging her 21-year-old son she had with Guy Ritchie, Rocco Ritchie. Another photo also shows her 24-year-old daughter, Lourdes Leon.
It appears that having her children at the celebration was one of the best parts for the pop singer. Her 15-year-old son David Banda posted for the camera for a charming photo with a flower between his teeth.
Lastly, her two youngest, Estere and Ciccone, both 8-year-olds, appear to be having a good time with their friends at the party.
This was not the last fans got to catch a glimpse of Madonna living her best, birthday-celebrating life. She also shared a montage of the party with the caption, “Mambo Italiano.”
Madonna Current Projects
In July, the famous singer announced that there would be a concert documentary for the “Madame X” tour coming in October to Paramount+.
Most recently, however, is the highly anticipated campaign in which the star will reissue several of the older landmark albums of her career in new deluxe editions. This is thanks to her new publishing deal with Warner Music Group.
The new series is going to focus on several highlightable points in Madonna’s career. Specifically, the project is going to commemorate the 40th anniversary of her debut singles, “Everybody” and “Burning Up” from 1982.
“Since the very beginning, Warner Music Group has helped bring my music and vision to all my fans around the world with the utmost care and consideration. They have been amazing partners, and I am delighted to be embarking on this next chapter with them to celebrate my catalogue from the last 40 years,” Madonna said in a press release regarding the new project, according to Pitchfork.
Madonna is also co-writing and co-directing her own biopic with the help of Diablo Cody, known for “Juno.”
