On Monday (November 1st) Mark Wahlberg took to Instagram to reveal he isn’t quite ready to be done with Halloween through a goofy video with his daughter.
“I thought Halloween was yesterday🤣😳❤️,” Mark Wahlberg declared in the post. The video shows Wahlberg rocking long Halloween fingernails. He also stated in the video, “I thought Halloween was over. She got me again.”
Mark Wahlberg is married to model Rhea Durham. The couple has four children, which are Ella are, Grace Margaret, Michael, and Brendan Joseph.
The Daddy’s Home star previously spoke about how he has to watch his children’s games from his car. “Me being in the public eye, there are pros to that. But there’s a lot of cons,” Wahlberg shared with Entertainment Tonight. “My kids wanna have their own identity, you know? I’m not allowed to get out of the car at football practice or a game. I gotta sit in the car and watch.”
Mark Wahlberg admitted he took having to stay in the car personally. “Because I wanna be there to support them. But supporting them is by making them feel comfortable in what they’re doing. And them having their own identity too. It’s very difficult.”
While chatting about his film Joe Bell, which is about a father speaking out against bullying, Mark Wahlberg reflected on his own parenting approach when it comes to supporting his children. He added,“First and foremost they understand that you love unconditionally. You cheer for them and support them for being who they are. But they have to be able to communicate.”
Mark Wahlberg Opens Up About Parenthood & Worrying About His Daughters Dating
During a previous interview with People, Mark Wahlberg discussed his approach to fatherhood and what his worries are when it comes to parenting. “It’s not easy. But it’s how we always pictured things. I pry for patience. But the kids test me.”
Mark Wahlberg also shared that he wants to give his children all the things he never had, but he wants to make sure they understand it’s not normal. “It takes hard work to get what you want. You have to provide them with the tools that will make them good people.”
When asked what he is dreading as a dad, Mark Wahlberg says the teenage years with his daughters. “It’s not going to be easy for them to go on a date,” he declared.
The actor goes on to share what his sons are like though. “My boys are obsessed with everything sports. The first thing out of their mouths in the morning when their eyes are barely open is, ‘Dad, did the Clippers win?’”
