Once an Avenger, always an Avenger. That includes all the humor and good times commonly seen with the infamous cast from Marvel’s “Avengers” films.

Both Jeremy Renner and Paul Rudd have roles in the Marvel Universe. Renner plays Hawkeye and is even getting his own Disney+ show, which comes out on November 24. Rudd plays the hilarious con-man turned superhero in “Ant-Man.”

Paul Rudd and Jeremy Renner Hilarious Post

Recently, Rudd was named the Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine. It’s so far a well-liked decision, seeing as Rudd is known for his humor, humility, stellar personality, and overall sexiness. Renner shared a photo of them hugging with the caption “50-Year-Old Virgins.”

Renner and Rudd created this fictional romantic comedy while doing the worldwide press tour for “Avengers: Endgame” in order to avoid revealing spoilers.

The “Mayor of Kingstown” actor wrote to Rudd, “Congrats to my friend Paul Rudd, ‘sexiest man alive’ !!! …. From your friend, who looks tremendous, in the dark… like ‘zero light handsome.’” This is exactly the kind of reaction he expected from his friends after all.

“I mean I’m going to lean into it hard. I’m going to own this. I’m not going to try to be like ‘Oh, I’m so modest.’ I’m getting business cards made. But all of my friends will destroy me and I expect them to. And that’s why they’re my friends,” Rudd said to People.

Excitement Over ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ Premiere

In addition to giving his “Avengers” friend a bit of a hard time, Renner is keeping busy with a lot of future projects.

Fans are looking forward to the crime thriller created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon. The show will air in just a couple of days on November 14 over on Paramount+. Renner stars alongside Dianne Wiest, Kyle Chandler, Emma Laird, Derek Webster, Taylor Handley, and Dillon.

“Mayor of Kingstown” will focus on the McLusky family, power brokers in Michigan that are trying to keep the peace in a town where the No.1 business is incarceration. The town has seven prisons within a 10-mile radius of each other. The show will focus on the chaos of the prisons, which includes gangs, crooked cops, money battles, and the overall battle for power. All the while, the show will focus on themes like systematic racism, corruption, and inequality.

Renner stars as the title character, the Mayor himself. We’ll learn a lot about Mike McLusky on the series, including why he’s so attached to the broken city.

“Also, what might not be known is my character was in jail for 10 years … Why that has any value is to understand why he has a connection with the prison, people inside, the leaders inside, the leaders outside,” Renner said to Distractify.
