Mayor of Kingstown star Jeremy Renner just showed off some new photos from a cover shoot. The actor, primarily known for his role as Hawkeye in the Marvel Film Franchise, recently landed the part of Mike McLusky in Taylor Sheridan’s new series.

Renner recently released two new photos to Instagram. The first shows the actor posing in front of an airplane.

“@flauntmagazine @kurtiswarienko and interview with @johnpaul_thesirensoftitan @coach,” the actor wrote in the caption.

In the other photo, Renner lays on the Asphalt, which looks a lot cooler than it sounds.

“Thank you everyone for a fun shoot @flauntmagazine @kurtiswarienko Check it out !!!”

Renner’s Mayor of Kingstown starring himself, Kyle Chandler, Emma Laird, and Hugh Dyllan, came out earlier this fall. As a Taylor Sheridan project, fans had major expectations. Sheridan is responsible for the hit series Yellowstone and its upcoming sequel, 1883.

But for critics, it, unfortunately, looks like this one has missed the mark a bit. Hopefully, for Renner, Sheridan, and the rest of the Mayor of Kingstown team, they’ll be able to turn things around.

‘Mayor of Kingstown’ Is Now Exclusivelly Available on Paramount +

The first episodes of Mayor of Kingstown aired after Yellowstone on the Paramount network, but the show is quickly making a move to Paramount+, where it’ll be inaccessible to network viewers. This is frustrating for fans who really don’t want to buy yet another streaming service.

Mayor of Kingstown isn’t the only show to make a move like this. Other series like SEAL Team also started their seasons on network before making the switch to the streaming network. Likely, this will drive in new subscribers who can’t bear to say goodbye to their shows.

“Mayor of Kingstown is the #1 original scripted drama on Paramount+ since its rebrand and the number-one new scripted cable premiere since Yellowstone in 2018,” President and CEO of MTV Entertainment Chris McCarthy said in a press release.

“More importantly, it’s already outpacing Yellowstone in key demos … which is why we’re confident our franchise strategy is working and Mayor of Kingstown will continue to thrive after it moves exclusively to Paramount+ on November 28th,” he continued.

Paramount + has been making major moves in the originals department as of lately. Taylor Sheridan and his shows are a big part of that move. Another Taylor Sheridan show, 1883, will premiere exclusively on the streaming service starting on December 19th.

If you want to catch Mayor of Kingstown and see the Marvel star wow in a gritty new role, you can tune in to Paramount +.
