Just about everyone knows Meghan McCain. And if you follower her on social media, then you know that she isn’t very happy right now.

Meghan McCain, of course, is a conservative columnist and author, and she is also a former co-host on the View. She is also the daughter of 2008 presidential candidate and longtime Arizona senator John McCain. However, on Thursday evening, she took to social media to let everyone know exactly how she feels about President Joe Biden’s recent withdrawal from Afghanistan.

“I have been physically ill, more depressed than I have been since the beginning stages of the pandemic and filled nothing short of pure rage and anger since the calamity of a ‘pull out’ which will be seen as one of the greatest foreign policy catastrophes of my lifetime.”

Certainly some strong words here from McCain. Her frustration obviously makes sense, though, given that she has so many family members who are in the military. Heck, even her late father was a United States Navy officer and a Vietnam War veteran. As a matter of fact, John McCain was shot down while on a bombing mission in 1967. From there, he was captured by the North Vietnamese and was kept as a prisoner of war until 1973.

“I am furious our President was so incompetent not to see what ever expert on the planet could have seen coming,” she said. “I am furious for my friends and family who have been fighting in these wars since I was 16 (many who have lost limbs, had their life terrorized by PTSD from their experiences in war and deployments, or worse).”

Meghan McCain Has Been ‘Raging’ on Social Media

Meghan McCain obviously isn’t shy here about her thoughts on the Joe Biden Administration. These feelings of anger and rage come despite her late father, John, and her mother, Cindy, being longtime friends of Biden’s.

“I am furious seeing our allies and innocent Afghan citizens who trusted us are being left to be slaughtered or so desperate to escape the pure evil the Taliban will bring in that they are falling out of f—ng planes. This is not who America is, this is not the values this country was founded in.”

Speaking of which, even Meghan McCain herself backed Joe Biden when he was the Democratic presidential candidate. That was when he was running against former President Donald Trump. However, by the sounds of it now, it doesn’t sound like she will be voting for a Biden re-election.

“Our veterans deserve better. The innocent Afghan people, and our allies and translators who have stood by us for the past 20 years deserve better. The shame, dishonor, and embarrassment the Biden Administration has brought to our country will take generations to undo. I could say so much more (and have been raging on Twitter). But please reach out to your veteran friends and their families. Everyone I know is struggling.”
