There’s nothing quite like beating your family in Monopoly. Over the holiday season, make your favorite family members hate you with a Metallica Monopoly game.

Yes, that is correct. Metallica has teamed up with Monopoly to create a Metallica Monopoly game. Just like they did with a children’s book, the heavy metal band is catering to the younger generation.

Metallica earlier today (Dec. 2) tweeted out their big news.

“We have collaborated with #Monopoly once again to bring you an all-new, second edition of this American classic!”

Metallica Monopoly Should Be a Hit

Just in time to celebrate the holidays, the collaboration is finally ready. This, though, is their second version of Metallica-themed Monopoly.

This Monopoly game focuses on their “World Tour,” and according to their website. Players will be able to buy real estate in each of the seven continents where the band went on tour.

Also, Metallica flaunts how they are the only band to play on all continents. The band famously played Antarctica during a special 2013 concert. They played an hour-long concert to scientists and contest winners during their venture to the continent.

While the band spreads its wings into the gaming world, they are using special currency and pieces for the game. “World Tour” Monopoly will use Metalli-bucks and feature stadiums as hotels and arenas as houses.

Also, players will have to deal with “sticks, picks, and snake pit passes.” Stage repair also could cost or help people while they round the board. During the game, players will use special pieces to move around. These pieces include: “Lady Justice, Death Magnetic coffin, Ride the Lightning electric chair, Master of Puppets Cross, Metal Up Your A– toilet and the Scary Guy.”

The game will feature a large animated picture on the front of the box. The game costs $39.99 online.

In other news, Miley Cyrus is coming out with a Metallica cover album sometime soon.
