Thanksgiving Special for Catherine Zeta-Jones, Family This Year
This Thanksgiving was the couple’s first as empty-nesters as Carys is a freshman in college.
The meal featured Zeta-Jones’s “favorite” stuffed pears, prepared by Carys. Overall, it looked like the family had a grand time.
One Chilean fan loved the picture, saying, “Congratulations to such a beautiful marriage and family, from Chile with love !!!”
On Wednesday, Zeta-Jones also showed off her outstanding table-top decoration skills. She had leaves over the black table-top and white fireplace mantle in the couple’s red-painted dining room.
“A Brit does Thanksgiving,” she said in the video.
Zeta-Jones, Husband Have Home To Themselves
In May, the Academy Award-winning actor Douglas told the TODAY show that the couple’s new home situation was “scary” now.
“You forget how many conversations you sort of hide behind in terms of talking about your kids and what’s going on next and this and that, and then one day you just look at each other,” Douglas said on Today in May.
Douglas went on to say, “all those good years of paying attention to each other are paying off now.”
Zeta-Jones relished the time with her kids back in 2020. Generally, she told People that she felt like a homebody most of the time anyway.
During the pandemic, the family stayed together as well.
Later, Zeta-Jones went on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” in April to say it was good having loved ones around in “a vulnerable and unknowing time.”
