Michelle Pfeiffer prefers to keep things private. While she may be one of Hollywood’s leading ladies, the limelight doesn’t extend to her family. For instance, she rarely posts pictures of her husband or kids on social media as a result.
Pfeiffer is married to writer David E. Kelley. The couple shares two children – Claudia Rose and John. Claudia Rose is now 28-years-old and glowers next to her mom in a recent photo. That’s right, some photos are just worth sharing with the world.
Pfeiffer decided to post a rare photo of herself and her daughter. She shared an inside look at her family with her followers. Pfeiffer and her daughter had their fashion on-point. Claudia wore a cherry red top to mark the occasion. Meanwhile. Pfeiffer embraced the summer mood with a floral top instead.
“Out on the town with my girl,” Pfeiffer captioned the pic.
In response to the post, Pfeiffer got some pretty famous responses. Some of her celebrity friends commented on the post, celebrating the two. For instance, actor Selma Blair wrote, “Perfection.” Meanwhile, Michelle’s sister-in-law Rona Pfeiffer got in on the action. She put several diamond emojis in the comment section as well.
“Beautiful inside and out,” wrote “Grey’s Anatomy” star Jessica Capshaw. “Have Have so much fuuuuuun!!!”
Michelle Pfeiffer and Her Daughter
Claudia Rose is not Michelle Pfeiffer’s biological daughter. Instead, the Hollywood star chose to adopt Claudia in 1993 when Claudia was just a baby. Pfeiffer boldly started the adoption paperwork while she was still single. But with Pfeiffer’s family quickly became complete when she met David Kelley.
The two dated and married in 1993. A few months later, Pfeiffer brought Claudia home as well. A year later, Pfeiffer and Kelly had a son together as well – John. In interviews, Pfeiffer opened up about her decision to adopt Claudia as a baby.
“When [Claudia] came, [Kelley] and I had only been together for about two months,” Peiffer said in a 2007 interview with Good Housekeeping. “We had this child with us right away, and most people don’t have that. But I really got to see him in a situation that certainly would separate the boys from the men.”
Pfeiffer also praised her husband for being a great dad to Claudia. Both realized they were ready to start a family.
“In a strange way, it took the pressure off us, as a couple,” she continued. “We had something else to focus on. It was sort of perfectly timed. I mean, it’s a real testament to the kind of person he is, but also to the fact that sometimes the traditional way of doing things isn’t always the best way.”
