On Saturday, May 8, Miley Cyrus and Elon Musk joined forces for a Saturday Night Live show. The aftermath of the show has the world talking about a whole host of things.

During the show, Elon Musk mentioned how he was going to send a rocket up with a number of things included. Miley Cyrus shared her sentiments about how the show went in her mind.

Taking to Twitter, the superstar pop singer said that she was thrilled to be introduced by Elon Musk. In her tweet, she included a short video clip of her performance on the late-night television show. She also joked that she wants to be included as one of the things the billionaire CEO sends up in his rocket.

She said, “That one time @elonmusk opened for me. Let’s take this show on the road Musk! #MileyToTheMoon.”

The video she included with the tweet was her song, “Plastic Hearts.” She wore a pink dress adorned with fake feathers for the performance. Perhaps she will take the dress with her on her journey to the moon.

Additionally, as part of the show, Miley Cyrus was part of a Space X sketch with Pete Davidson. Davidson broke out his “Chad” character for the skit. He and Miley Cyrus hilariously went through the steps to save a group of helpless Mars residents.

Miley Cyrus Performed a Rendition of ‘Without You’ on ‘Saturday Night Live’

Many people loved her musical performances on Saturday Night Live. She did a wonderful job as the musical guest. One of the songs she sang was “Without You.” Cyrus performed the song for the first time live with help from Kid Laroi.

Laroi is new to the U.S. market, and this was his big introduction. The artist is only 17 years old and has been performing almost exclusively in Australia. He broke into music after the release of his album F**k Love last year.

So, the two singers gave an awesome rendition of “Without You.” The song is currently holding the No. 23 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. However, the Kid Laroi song is at the top of Australia’s ARIA singles chart.

Also in the show, Miley sang a beautiful version of Dolly Parton’s 1977 hit, “Light of a Clear Blue Morning.” She sang the song in honor of Parton, who is her godmother. The tribute was a way to honor the legendary singer on Mother’s Day. Elon Musk also introduced her for this song as well.
