Miranda Lambert Announces Her Casa Rosa Bar Is Officially Open

Miranda Lambert has owned the Academy of Country Music Awards as the most-awarded artist of the ceremony’s history.

Besides having major claims and stakes in the country music world, Lambert is putting down her roots in a new business venture. It’s mixing together three pretty amazing things — tacos, tunes, and tequila.

She is now the first female country artist to own her own bar on Nashville’s bustling Broadway.

Miranda Lambert Opens Casa Rosa

Excitingly, the “Bluebird” and “Drunk” singer announced today that her new bar Casa Rosa is now open. She wrote on Instagram, “Yall it’s official…. @casarosanashville is open!! We celebrated Tuesday night with a friends and family karaoke party! Thanks to everyone who came out to hang! I even got hubby up to sing a little duet! Just call us Danny and Sandy from now on! When yall are in Nashville come by for some tacos and tequila!!!”

Hailey Whitters, Aubrie Sellers, Ashley McBryde, Darius Rucker, Ashley Monroe, Jon Pardi, Kid Rock, and Angaleena Presley all made an appearance for the friends and family grand opening.

According to CMT, her new bar is located downtown at 308 Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee. It’s right in the middle of the partying and music hot-spot of the state.

Lively Performances

The night was filled with some lively karaoke performances to set the mood for the bar. Several artists joined Lambert for a cover of The Chicks’ hit “Goodbye Earl.” While last night was VIP only, Nashville natives and tourists can now experience the thrill of Casa Rosa.

Darius Rucker sang “Walking in Memphis” and McBryde took over for a cover of a Jo Dee Messina hit, “My Give a Damn’s Busted.” Additionally, Lindsay Ell sang “I Love Rock ‘N Roll” by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. And Cassadee Pope showed up for a Messina cover of “Bye Bye.”

However, one of the most exciting performances was from an unlikely pairing for the stage — Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin. The two channeled their inner Sandy and Danny for “Summer Nights.”

Certainly, she isn’t the only country artist to venture into food and alcohol as a form of entertainment. Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, and Blake Shelton are a few artists that own bars or restaurants.

Miranda Lambert’s New Song

Besides the new bar and restaurant on Broadway, Miranda Lambert has still been busy as ever working on her music.

She recently released “The Marfa Tapes” with Jon Randall and Jack Ingram. However, she just added, “They’ve Closed Down The Honky Tonks” to that collection. The song is a homey ballad that did not appear on the album. Nevertheless, it’s sure to be a classic Miranda tune in no time.

Lambert wrote the acoustic tune during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, the song mentioned nearby venues that were in danger of shutting down due to the year-long closures.

“No bartenders, no guitars with b-benders/No two-stepping shuffles, no shiny belt buckles,” Lambert croons in the song. The song first appeared in the documentary, “The Marfa Tapes Film,” released about the album on Apple TV.
