NASCAR is wondering who the fans think Bubba Wallace will drive for next year. The official twitter account for the professional race car driving league took to Twitter to pen the question, and the answers quickly went off the rails.
NASCAR posted a photo of driver in racing gear that features the phrase, “Bubba Wallace will drive for _____ in 2021.”
Shortly thereafter, hundreds of fans weighed in with their thoughts. A number of Twitter users slammed Wallace’s prospects with other teams due to the recent garage pull controversy.
“Hendrick and Gordon want no part of the clown show,” one user writes. “Idk if Ganassi has any concern for integrity but said Bubba missed his chance on the 42. It’s sad this is the debate when you have Larson, Jones and xfinity drives that BW is not even in the same league with.”
Another user expressed their disappointment after seeing many of the insulting remarks in response to NASCAR’s tweet. “I opened this tweet after a long stressful day of work EXCITED to view comments to see who people think Bubba will drive for, only to be disgusted by the evil in this world,” the user writes. “I wish I hadn’t bothered. Love you @BubbaWallace.”

NASCAR: Bubba Wallace Announces Plans to Leave Richard Petty Motorsports
Earlier this month, Wallace took to social media to reveal his decision to part with Richard Petty Motorsports.
“This was not an easy decision as I have nothing but the utmost respect for Richard Petty and his family, but I believe it’s time for someone else to take over the reins of the No. 43,” he wrote.
Wallace concluded by writing: “Thank you to the King and everyone at Richard Petty Motorsports for giving me the opportunity to start my Cup Series career. I’ve grown so much as a driver and as a person since joining them. We’ve got nine more races together, and I hope we can finish the 2020 season on a high note.”
