Despite being unfriendly towards each other’s character in the 1998 remake of Disney’s The Parent Trap, Elaine Hendrix says she and Natasha Richardson actually bonded on set about Liam Neeson and in their trailers during the film’s production.
During a recent interview with US Weekly, Elaine Hendrix recalls Recalls Natasha Richardson loving Chardonnay and cake bread during their chats. “I just remember in real life, thinking how elegant Natasha,” Elaine says. She also reveals Natasha would swoon when she talked about her husband Liam Neeson and her children.
Natasha Richardson married Liam Neeson in 1994 and the couple had two sons, Micheal and Daniel. Hendrick says the couple was truly and deeply in love.
“She was crazy about her kids and in her trailer, she had pictures of them up. She was just a lovely human being.”
Natasha Richardson tragically passed away after hitting her head during a ski lesson in Canada. She later complained about having a headache and was rushed to the hospital. She was pronounced dead after suffering an epidural hematoma in March 2009 at the age of 45.
