Things on NCIS are going to be a little different. Mainly, the leader in charge. Gibbs is officially out and Alden Parker is now seemingly in charge. That is evident in a new preview as Gary Cole’s character starts to delegate duties to McGee and the team.

It is going to take some getting used to, but the calm and steady-handed Parker should be a good fit on the team. Fans are not sure what to think yet. It will be interesting as Gibbs is no longer on screen. How exactly will this affect the chemistry of the team? Watch the sneak peek below.

McGee is going to be checking out a laptop, however not much else is known. Parker gets it across that he knows what everyone is thinking. In fact, it is almost like he is talking to more than just the folks on set during the clip. It seems the writers want everyone to know things will be alright.

However, the seriousness of the situation is cut with a little humor. It was bordering the edge of a fourth wall break, but not quite.

“The only question I have is,” Parker began. “Do you guys ever go to the bathroom? And where is it? Because I’m literally about to wet myself!” Good leaders are hard to find. It appears that Parker is going to do his best to steer the NCIS team in the right direction. For now, everyone will have to buckle up and wait for the new episode tonight. What could possibly go wrong?

‘NCIS’ Sneak Peek Shows McGee Reflecting on Gibbs

There have been a number of sneak peeks into the new episode ahead of the premiere tonight. When the newest episode begins, it will be without Gibbs as the head of the team. He had quite a reckoning with his career and himself. Now, NCIS moves on.

While fans, viewers, and the characters on the show are going to be upset with the departure, it is the right thing for Gibbs. McGee and Torres talk it out in a sneak peek of the new episode. McGee is asked if he thinks that Gibbs will be okay. After a lot of pausing and consideration, he answers in an emotional moment.

“I think he probably hasn’t been this okay in a long time,” said the longtime agent.

That is another message that seems to be leaping out of the screen. Not just a comforting line for Torres on the show, but a line directed at the audience. This is going to be a tough one to get through for longtime fans, it seems the emotions could run high. It all goes down tonight in an all-new episode of NCIS at 9 PM EST on CBS.
