The all-new NCIS: Hawai’i continues to add more people to its already impressive cast. Now, the show has brought in actress Tori Anderson to the crew. Anderson is best known for her work in No Tomorrow, Killjoys, and The LA Complex.
Anderson will play the ambitious NCIS Hawai’i Special Agent Kate Whistler, who works for the Defense Intelligence Agency. However, Whistler has a lot more to her story that the rest of the team will begin to learn as the series progresses.
The team behind the show has also announced that they’ve cast Kian Talan of Brainchild to play the main character’s son. The main character, Jane Tennant, will be the first female lead in an NCIS franchise series.
Vanessa Lachey, Yasmine Al-Bustami, and Others to Star in NCIS: Hawai’i
Tori Anderson and Kian Talan will join an impressive cast, all of which are new faces to the NCIS franchise. Leading the show is Vanessa Lachey. Lachey has been in the TV industry for years. You may recognize her best for her work as a reality show host. The actress is incredibly excited about bringing depth to the role of Tennant.
“I’m excited to bring a different layer to this role and hopefully inspire this next generation of young girls and women. My character Jane Tennant is the special agent in charge of NCIS. She’s a mother of a 15-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl, and that is real life: juggling life, and love, and work,” she said in a CBS teaser for the network’s upcoming fall programming.
Now, we know that Talan will take on the role of Jane Tennant’s older son on NCIS: Hawai’i. Even if he won’t be in every episode, his character will likely be an important part of the series.
Yasmine Al-Bustami, Jason Antoon and Noah Mills will also join the series. The three actors come from a variety of different backgrounds. Bustami is best known for her work on The Originals on the CW. Meanwhile, Antoon is a Tony Award winner and Mills is not only an actor but a very successful model.
Bustami will play the young and energetic rookie of the group. Mills will play a more seasoned team member who is also Tennant’s close confidant. Meanwhile, Antoon has landed the role of the team’s technology and cybersecurity specialist, Ernie.
It’s clear that NCIS: Hawai’i has really started to line up their main players. Hopefully, it won’t be long until the cast is finalized and production moves forward.
