NCIS: Hawai’i‘s leading actress Vanessa Lachey just posted a photo from a date night while the show is in production. The actress will be the first-ever woman to lead an NCIS series and has been posting updates from Hawai’i as the series goes on.
Lachey went on a date with her husband Nick Lachey, who she’s been married to since 2011. The two definitely looked like they were having fun last night.
“Date Night… island style. Thank You @mugenwaikiki for the Aloha! We enjoyed EVERY bite & sip at the perfect #chefstable”
Fans loved the pic. One fan who met them the other night wanted to let them know just how grateful she was.
“You two are such down-to-earth, friendly people, it was an honor to meet you both,” she wrote.
Everyone else was quick to point out just how much of a cute couple the two are.
‘NCIS Hawai’i’ Recently Added Two New Cast Members
Tarrant will play a local named Kai who has returned to Hawai’i to become an NCIS agent after years of being away from home. As a local, he can “blend into any part of the islands.” Tarrant’s previous acting credits include When We Go to War, The Other Side of Heaven 2: Fire of Faith, 800 Words, and Filthy Rich.
Gjokaj is a Marvel actor who will play Navy Captain Joe Milius. Apparently, he will arrive in Hawai’i after an aircraft crashes there. But he’s not necessarily going to get along with the NCIS: Hawai’i team. In fact, he’ll really butt heads with Vanessa Lachey’s character, Jane Tennant. He’s known for his recent work in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, and Dollhouse
NCIS: Hawai’i hasn’t aired a single true clip from the show yet, yet many fans are already buzzing with excitement thanks to the cast and plot details.
Lachey Working Hard to Bring Realism To Jane Tennant
Vanessa Lachey will play Jane Tennant, a single mother, and leading agent who works incredibly hard to balance both parts of her life. Lachey also wants to help accurately represent the islands she’s filming on.
“Now that I’m back (in Hawaii), I feel like I have a responsibility to make sure that the community here, the people, the crew, that they’re all represented properly, you know?” she said in a promotional video for CBS’s fall lineup, which also includes NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles.
You can catch Lachey and the rest of the exciting cast and crew when the show premieres this fall on Monday nights.
