NCIS: Hawai’i has its first rival! Find out all about the new star.

Variety revealed that Enver Gjokaj has been added to the cast. He will star in the series as Navy Capt. Joe Milius. His character is a high-level Pacific Fleet Commander. He comes into the series after a pilot is killed when he crashed into a cliff in a top-secret experimental aircraft. Milius believes that it was an accident while Tennant (Vanessa Lachey) believes in foul play. He doesn’t want her to take over the investigation but respects her leadership capabilities.

You may have seen Gjokaj in the Marvel Universe as police officer Daniel Sousa on Agent Carter and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He also appeared on The Walking Dead, The Rookie, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, among other shows.

The NCIS: Hawai’i spinoff marks the third spinoff from the original NCIS. This will mark the first female lead in any of the series with Vanessa Lachey. Lachey’s character Jane Tennant is the first SAC who is juggling her work and personal lives. She has two children and is a single mother while being a fair and resourceful leader for her team.

Meet the ‘NCIS Hawai’i’ Cast

Noah Mills will star as Jesse who is a homicide detective from a big city. He’s worked on high-profile cases but still finds time to be a “family man.” He has worked with Jane the longest and is her right-hand man.

You may recognize Mills from Disney+’s Marvel series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. He has also appeared on The Brave, Sex and The City 2, and The Enemy Within.

Alex Tarrant has been featured in numerous international projects like Vegas and 800 Words. He will portray Hawai’i local Kai. Kai spent his adult life away from his home island and running away from his problems. He returned to the island to join the NCIS: Hawai’i team as an agent.

Yasmine Al-Bustami portrays Lucy, the rookie on the team. Lucy is eager to learn and impress as a junior agent. Al-Bustami was featured on The Originals, Nashville, and SWAT.

Jason Antoon will portray the cyber intelligence specialist Ernie. He loves all things Hawai’i and an “essential component of the team.” He doesn’t have any family on the island so the team has become his surrogate family.

NCIS: Hawai’i will debut on CBS this fall. It will air on Monday nights at 10 PM ET, following NCIS‘ scheduled slot.
