‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Star Vanessa Lachey Posts Adorable Back-to-School Photo of Her ‘Three Babies’

Apparently, the whole family has moved out to Hawai’i with “NCIS: Hawai’i” star Vanessa Lachey. She’s currently filming the first season of the new spin-off series.

Earlier this summer, Lachey posted an adorable family Fourth of July photo from the islands. We also saw a snap of her and her husband, Nick Lachey, doing a date night “island style.”

But the “NCIS” star and her family aren’t just staying near Pearl Harbor for the summer. Lachey posted the sweetest back-to-school pic earlier today featuring her three adorable kids.

“And just like that… all three of my babies are in one school! #Ohana,” the “NCIS” star wrote.

Now that her youngest, four-year-old Pheonix, is in pre-school, all three kids will be in elementary school together. Camden, at eight years old, is the oldest Lachey kid. He’s starting third grade, while six-year-old Brooklyn is starting first grade.

The “NCIS” star’s sweet pic has already gotten a ton of love on Instagram, from “Chuck” actor Ryan McPartlin to “All My Children” actress Kelly Ripa.

“School in paradise!!!” Ripa wrote.

Lachey’s fellow “NCIS: Hawai’i” costars also sent their love. “Adorable!” Noah Mills said. Mills will play Jesse, an expert interrogator, on the new show.

“Oh man there they go😂 so cute,” said Jason Antoon. He’ll play high-tech guru Ernie.

Upcoming ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Just Weeks Away

Vanessa Lachey will star as Special Agent-in-Charge Jane Tennant. Out of all the “NCIS” shows, this will be the first one to feature a female lead. Back in July, the show’s executive producers described Tennant to TVLine in an exclusive interview.

“When we first meet Special Agent in Charge Jane Tennant, her brilliance and compassion are on full display when, after being pulled away from coaching her daughter’s soccer team, she heads to the North Shore to lead an investigation into a top-secret Navy program. We can’t wait for viewers to get to know her and her team this September,” the executive producers said.

The new season will premiere on Monday, Sept. 20, at 10/9 CT. At least the first four episodes have already been filmed, per director Larry Teng’s Instagram. He posts continual updates and behind-the-scenes looks of the cast and crew working on the show.

Yesterday, Teng even posted a glimpse of Vanessa Lachey on horseback while they were filming part of Episode 4. He used the behind-the-scenes footage as a quick lesson in directing and camera work.

“Sometimes it’s just that little bit of foreground that makes the shot that much nicer,” Teng captioned the post. “Here’s a BTS from Ep 104 showing how we added one little plant in front of the lens to help accentuate the movement of the camera.”
