NCIS: Hawai’i star Vanessa Lachey just shared some funny photos of her daughter eating a pancake. The actress has been filming a lot recently for the upcoming series, but thankfully she’s been getting in some quality family time. The actress has three children.
“She is DEFINITELY my daughter!” Lachey wrote of the hilarious photos of her girl eating a pancake with both of her hands.
Meanwhile, her co-star Jason Antoon was quick to agree with her caption.
“This is how you eat manapuas on set,” he teased. Antoon is set to play the team’s cyber-security specialist, Earnie. Lachey also plays a mom on NCIS: Hawai’i, which will air its first season this fall.
One Director Recently Shared an Awesome Behind the Scenes Clip
NCIS: Hawai’i has gotten in its fair share of night shoots so far. One of which involved the cast heading out on a boat. Director Larry Tang shared a fun clip of the cast on a boat in the dark.
In the video, he puts the camera on Lachey, who jokes that he put the camera on her after she got out of the ocean.
“Now I look like a wus,” she said. However, the fascinating video shows the complexity of a night shoot on a boat packed with camera equipment. Lachey has also shared some photos of different night shoots that look far less sea-sickness-inducing.
NCIS: Hawai’i Has the Franchise’s First Female Lead
Vanessa Lachey leads the charge as the first female lead of an NCIS franchise. Her character, Jane Tennant, is a devoted single mother as well as an incredibly talented special agent who has to constantly work to balance those two lives. And apparently, that’s demonstrated in her first moments on screen.
Producer Mat Bosack told TVLine that “when we first meet Special Agent in Charge Jane Tennant, her brilliance and compassion are on full display when, after being pulled away from coaching her soccer team, she heads to North Shore to lead an investigation into a top-secret program.”
Lachey has repeatedly expressed her eagerness and gratitude for the role. Now, we’re just weeks away from being able to see our first look at Jane Tennant. Lachey is joined by a talented and diverse supporting cast. Jason Antoon, Yasmine Al-bustami, Noah Mills, and Tori Anderson are all set to co-star as important members of Jane Tennant’s elite NCIS investigative team.
NCIS: Hawai’i will get a fantastic ratings lead-in with its flagship show, the original NCIS, moving to Monday nights at 9 pm. NCIS: Hawai’i airs right after at 10 pm. Both shows will air new episodes on September 20th.
