Earlier today, Lachey shared a throwback pic of a previous Halloween, featuring some incredible costumes from her and her husband. Nick is channeling his best Joker, while Vanessa appears to be an undead/zombie version of Marilyn Monroe, based on her blond wig and glamorous dress. The “NCIS” star totally pulls off the half-skeleton looks, showing off her bones in epic fashion.
Lachey also referenced her new book, “Life From Scratch: Family Traditions That Start With You,” in the post. Apparently, the actress shares several fall and Halloween traditions that she and Nick partake in.
“👻HALLOWEEN👻 is a Big deal in the Lachey House! In #LifeFromScratchBook I talk about one of our favorite times of the year and share some ideas for Halloween. We Love to have FUN making memories & starting new #traditions! Our annual Halloween party always has a theme! This year, we are in Hawai’i! Any ideas what I may do?!” the “NCIS” star captioned the post.
In the comments, several fans weighed in on Lachey’s question about what theme she might do for her Halloween party.
“NCIS Hawai’i theme!” one die-hard fan wrote. The most common answers actually stem from Disney movies set in or near the tropical islands. “Moana” led the group consensus followed by “Lili & Stitch.”
Earlier this month, Lachey also teased how excited she was for October and Halloween. She posted an adorable photo featuring her and two gorgeous pumpkins.
“Hey, Punkin’s! It’s October 1st and I’m READY!!! 🎃👻🕸🕷 Fall is my FAVORITE time of the year and it’s also when I officially started my traditions with Nick. I can’t wait for you to read about them in #LifeFromScratchBook,” Lachey captioned the post.
‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Star Vanessa Lachey Said Family ‘Fits Right In’ on Hawaiian Islands
Uprooting your family and moving across an entire ocean must be nerve-wracking. Especially when all those children are under the age of nine. But “NCIS: Hawai’i” star Vannesa Lachey said her family immediately adjusted to living in Hawai’i.
In an interview with Cincinnati’s WRKC TV, Lachey mentioned how the islands are “pretty incredible.”
“Beyond the actual beautiful scenery, the people, and the food and the culture and the love … (all that) they embody. I think what surprised me the most, when Nick and the kids came out there – we all live there now – they just fit right in,” the “NCIS: star said. “I didn’t know, but I guess we have island babies. They love Hawaii and I don’t think they want to leave.”
