‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Star Eric Christian Olsen Holds Daughter, Sings John Denver in Shower

NCIS: Los Angeles star Eric Christian Olsen posted a touching photo of himself and his baby riding out the waves of her fever. Olsen, who plays Deeks, has three children with his wife, Sarah Wright. Wright is also an actress. The two of them often post about their experiences with parenthood, and this difficult moment with their youngest was no exception.

“Winter has a fever. She Puked up her medicine all over Sarah, so I pulled her into a cool shower, cleaned her off, sang some John Denver and she fell asleep on my chest. Dear God this is IT. The journey is the goal. Embrace it ALL,” he wrote.

NCIS: Los Angeles fans and friends of Olsen were quick to wish young Winter a speedy recovery.

“The sweetest photo on the intraweb. Hope she feels better soon x,” one person wrote.

“All my love to your sweet cub.. my 20-month-old has just recovered from [feeling] poorly too. Feeling helpless is the worst, but snuggles are always the best medicine,” another parent commented.

“Poor thing,” a fan commented. “I’m hoping she gets better soon. I’m sending much love to you and Sarah as well. I know how hard it is to see your baby in pain.”

Olsen and his family recently returned from a Summer Vacation. The actor is also quite busy, as production for NCIS: Los Angeles has started back up.

‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Returns this October

In real life, Olsen is a proud father. In NCIS: Los Angeles, Olsen plays a man who’s struggling to have kids with his wife. Deeks’ journey with his wife, Kensi Blye, is one of the many plotlines that’ll be explored in the upcoming season of NCIS: Los Angeles.

The upcoming season will also experience a bit of a cast shakeup. Nell and Eric will no longer be on the show, at least for the time being. The actors behind the characters, Renee Felice Smith and Barrett Foa, have said their goodbyes to NCIS: Los Angeles, deciding to pursue other creative endeavors. Killbride actor Gerald McRaney, meanwhile, has been promoted to a full-time cast member.

Production seems to be going smoothly, with producer rick Tunnell announcing on Twitter that the first episode of season 13 is “in the can.” Olsen recently filmed a behind-the-scenes video for the show, showing off his trailer and the outfits he’d be wearing. It’s clear that the new NCIS: Los Angeles season has begun to make some headway.

Apparently, episode one will have a bit of chaos. A behind-the-scenes video shows the cast talking about the upcoming season, but all of them remain pretty tight-lipped. Apparently, in episode one, “things explode.”

You’ll be able to watch Eric Christian Olsen and the rest of the cast once more very soon. NCIS season 13 will air on Sunday, October 10th, 2021, on CBS.
