NCIS: Los Angeles star Eric Christian Olsen plays the childless Deeks on NCIS: Los Angeles, but in real life, he’s a father of three. The actor just posted a fun new photo of himself doing a bit of multitasking with one of his children. Olsen has three children with his wife, Actress Sara Wright.
“She got jealous of the weighted vest,” the NCIS: Los Angeles actor joked in the caption. This isn’t the first workout photo that Olsen has posted. But the challenge of holding a baby during it makes it special.
Fans commented on his ability to workout with his child.
“Haha this is the ultimate workout right here,” one person wrote.
Workouts with kids, weighted vest and weights #crushinit also Winter chilling vibe is everything,” another fan wrote. “The dad workout vibe is strong…”
Production of ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Season 13 Is in Full Swing
It’s hard to tell how Olsen has time to do all these workouts considering production for NCIS: Los Angeles season 13 is fully underway. Olsen recently shared a series of videos from behind the scenes and has expressed excitement for what the season has in store.
Still, we don’t know too many details about what’s in store for the next season. We know that they’ve already finished episode 1 and that episode 3 is called “Indentured.”
We also know that Hetty actress Linda Hunt is returning this year after being mostly absent from season 12 due to COVID-19 safety precautions. Hunt is reportedly incredibly happy to be back on set. On top of Hunt’s return, Gerald McRaney who plays Admiral “Killjoy” Killbride, is joining the cast as a full-time member.
This means that NCIS: Los Angeles will be filled with even more comedic moments that balance out the darkness of the episodes.
However, Nell and Eric are officially no longer a part of the series. Actors Barret Foa and Renee Felice smith both decided to leave the show last year, having their characters leave the unit and move to Tokyo in the season 12 finale that aired earlier this year.
NCIS: Los Angeles season 13 will also likely take a further look at the fact that Kensi and Deeks are trying to have kids. The two started trying last season but didn’t have any luck. Some fans speculate that the couple will pursue adoption.
No matter what happens next season, it’ll be packed full of some fan-favorite cast members. NCIS: Los Angeles returns on Sunday, October 10th on CBS.
