The wife of NCIS: Los Angeles star Eric Christian Olsen took to social media on Thursday to announce that she will be partnering with two organizations that empower women.
Fans of NCIS: Los Angeles know and love Eric Christian Olsen for his role in the popular CBS military crime show. Olsen plays the role of Detective Marty Deeks. His wife, on the other hand, Sarah Wright is also a well-known actress. Wright has had roles in various television shows and movies. She had a recurring role as Millicent Gergich Parks and Recreation. She also co-starred alongside Tom Cruise in American Made.
And even though both Eric Christian Olsen and Sarah Wright are stars by the day, when they are at home, they are simply mom and dad. That couldn’t be more evidenced than by Wright’s latest Instagram post. She posted a beautiful photo of her three blonde babies on Thursday evening.
“My babies and I are honored to join @citizensofhumanity in supporting @girlsincla, whose interactive programming provides girls from under-resourced communities with the tools and support to be STRONG, SMART, and BOLD.”
Wife of ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Star Supports Nonprofits
For those who don’t know, the two organizations that Sarah Wright and her kids will be supporting are the Girls Inc. of Greater Los Angeles and the Citizens of Humanity.
The Girls Inc. of LA is a non-profit organization. It inspires girls to be exactly what Wright says in her post. Those things are strong, smart, and bold.
In partnering with them, she also announced that they have come out with limited-edition t-shirts. The wife of the NCIS: Los Angeles star is rocking one of the shirts in her pic with her kids. And one of the kiddos is wearing a Girls Inc. shirt as well. It is, admittedly, a little hard to see.
“They have joined forces with a collective of female creatives to design limited edition t-shirts with original artwork in hopes to visually inspire others to empower the next generation of women,” Wright said. “I am proudly wearing my tee designed by the incredibly talented Carly Kuhn of @TheCartorialist. (It’s hard to see because of winter so I’ll put another photo in my stories)”
Wright says that the new t-shirts are available exclusively on the Citizens oh Humanity website. Not only that but 100-percent of the proceeds from sales of the shirts will go be donated to the Girls Inc. of Greater Los Angeles.
