NCIS: Los Angeles characters Kensi and Fatima are preparing to go undercover in the next episode. The upcoming episode called, Indentured will take a look at Kensi and Fatima’s ability to work together as they go undercover to get more information on a potentially dangerous arms dealer.

The official episode description goes more in-depth.

“Sam and Kilbride clash when a case involving an arms dealer responsible for the slaughter of ATF agents leads them to a well-connected colonel and friend of Kilbride; Kensi and Fatima go under cover to question the arms dealer’s girlfriend,” the description reads.

NCIS: Los Angeles is currently just starting its 13th season. The show has had an incredibly successful run so far. It has stayed strong in the ratings despite the occasional shake-up in the cast.

The upcoming NCIS: Los Angeles episode should definitely be a bit less heavy then last night’s, which focused on the devastating and personal aftermath of a hate crime. A Japanese American veteran is murdered, and the team takes it hard. Fatima played an important role in the episode, where she addressed her experiences being targeted for being a Muslim American.

Next episode should find Fatima in a much different setting as she and Kensi assume new identities to get information. Knowing Kensi and Fatima, it should be a great watch.

Kilbride Is Front and Center this Season of ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’

Along with having some great Fatima and Kensi moments, the upcoming episode will also focus more on Kilbride. We’ve already seen way more Kilbride than usual. CBS Promoted Gerald McRaney, the actor who plays the comedically surly admiral to a regular.

McRaney’s expressed excitement for being on full-time and has said in previous interviews that he hopes to be good representation for veterans. The actor has played veterans in the past and has people who served in his family.

Kilbride is unafraid to butt heads with people. Most recently, he expressed frustrations with Hetty as she expressed her need to go on yet another mission.

Hetty actress Linda Hunt made her return to the series after being gone for most of season 12. The actress had to sit out of that season due to COVID-19 concerns. But Hetty has less of a role than Kilbride does so far. She’s off on that mission. Some fans worry about Linda Hunt’s future on the show, but others are just happy to see her on-screen for as long as we can have her.
