NCIS: Los Angeles star LL Cool J has some wisdom for fans.
The actor shared a photo of a quote of his via Instagram on Monday, Aug. 30. Just in time for Monday Motivation!
“You didn’t come this far, to only come this far,” he wrote. Fans seemed to agree as the comments section was flooded with positive comments. Numerous users wrote, “amen,” and “just what I needed to hear.”
NCIS: Los Angeles fans don’t need to worry, Linda Hunt (Hetty) will be re-joining the cast. The actress couldn’t be present on the set of Season 12 due to COVID-19 safety. Her brief cameos last season were actually filmed at her house, outside in her driveway.
Showrunner R. Scott Gemmill confirmed to TV Line that Hunt would be returning and that they will address her character’s absence. Share your theories concerning Hetty’s absence with us!
“You normally wouldn’t ever write one of your No 1 through 6 actors out for four or five episodes, because you couldn’t afford to,” Gemmill explained. “But when they have to for whatever reason, you try and jump at that because that’s something you don’t normally get to do, and you build that into the story. Like, ‘Where is this character?’ Obviously, Hetty was away, but we want there to be a real reason, and we’ll probably revisit that next season.”
“The minute I saw her, she’s like, ‘Let’s talk about next season,'” Gemmill said. “So I think that as tough as last year was, for a lot of reasons, she, like the rest of us, is starting to see a little light at the end of the tunnel and feels good about coming back to work.”
